Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport is a public airport 10 km east of downtown Amarillo, in Potter and Randall Counties, Texas, United States. Opened in 1929 as English Field, Amarillo Airport was renamed in 2003 to honor Rick Husband, NASA astronaut who died in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. Its code honors the city of AMArillo.
