Naples Municipal Airport is a public use airport located 4 km northeast of the central business district of Naples, the most populous city and county seat of Collier County, Florida. Established in 1942 as Naples Army Airfield by the United States Army Air Forces. Assigned initially to the Southeast Training Center (later Eastern Flying Training Command).
