Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is an international airport serving Belgrade, Serbia. Previously known as BElGrade Airport or Surčin Airport, it was renamed in 2006 in honor of Serbian scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. It is the busiest airport in the former Yugoslavia. The airport is situated 18 km west of downtown Belgrade near the town of Surčin.
