Dusseldorf International Airport is the capital of the German state North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located approximately 7 kilometres north of downtown Düsseldorf, the third largest airport in Germany. Rhine Ruhr Airport was renamed to DÜSseldorf International, but dropped the ‘International’ in 2013.
