El Alcaraván Airport is an airport serving the city of Yopal, the capital of the Casanare Department of Colombia. The airport is on the southeast edge of the city. Although the airport operates only domestic flights between Bogotá and Bucaramanga, it is classified as an international airport because it has an immigration facility. In 1965 started the first commercial flights in Yopal when Aerotaxi Casanare S.A. was founded, it was the only airline until 1992 when the Aeronautica Civil allows Aires S.A. to operate in this airport.
