Tweed New Haven Airport is a public airport located three miles southeast of downtown New Haven, in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. The airport is partly located in the City of New Haven, which owns the airport, and partly in the town of East Haven. Tweed is one of two airports with regularly-scheduled commercial service in Connecticut, the other being Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks. An American Airlines affiliate, Piedmont Airlines, is New Haven's sole airline. In 1961 it was renamed in honor of John H. "Jack" Tweed, its first airport manager.
