John Murtha Johnstown–Cambria County Airport is a civil-military public airport 5 km northeast of Johnstown, in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. It is owned by Johnstown–Cambria County Airport Authority and is named after the late Congressman John Murtha. The airport opened in 1948 as Johnstown Municipal Airport, Allegheny Airlines was its airline until Allegheny Commuter took over in 1970. When US Airways' prop affiliate ended flights to Altoona and Pittsburgh, United Express started flights to Altoona and Washington–Dulles.
