Rickenbacker International Airport is a civil-military public airport 16 km south of downtown Columbus, near Lockbourne in southern Franklin County, Ohio, United States. Opened in 1942, Rickenbacker International is now named after World War I pilot Eddie Rickenbacker. It was originally known as Lockbourne Army Airfield for the nearby town of LoCKbourne.
