Rochester International Airport is a nonhub primary airport located 11 km southwest of the central business district of Rochester, a city in Olmsted County, Minnesota, United States. It is the second busiest airport in Minnesota. The original Rochester Airport was built in 1928 by the Mayo Foundation. Later renamed to Lobb Field, the airport was closed in 1961 and replaced by the current RocheSTer International.
