Sørkjosen Airport code (SOJ)

Sørkjosen Airport is a regional airport located at Sørkjosen in Nordreisa, Norway, 4.5 kilometres from the municipal center of Storslett. The airport opened in 1974 and was originally served using de Havilland Canada Twin Otter aircraft. Dash 8s were introduced in 1995 and two years later ownership was transferred from Nordreisa Municipality to the state. Sørkjosen was launched as part of a national network of regional short take-off and landing airport which was proposed in the mid-1960s.
