Vnukovo International Airport is a dual-runway international airport located 28 kilometres southwest of the centre of Moscow, Russia. It is the third-busiest airport in Russia. Vnukovo International is Moscow’s oldest operating airport, originally opened in 1941. It received its name and airport code from the small nearby village of VnuKOvo.
